Fitch affirms credit rating of 'Azerenerji' OJSC

Baku. 4 May. REPORT.AZ/ Fitch international rating agency affirmed credit rating of 'Azerenerji' OJSC. 

Report informs referring to the FItch official website, agency has affirmed 'Azerenerji' at “BB+” with outlook “negative”.

Fitch said in its statement that the rating of 'Azerenerji' has been matched with the rating of its main stakeholder - government of Azerbaijan. The reason is strong legal, operative and strategic links between the company and the state.

Notably, Fitch international rating agency downgraded 'Azerenerji'’s rating from “BBB” to “BB+” in March 1, 2016.
