FIMSA signs MoU with Chamber of Auditors

Baku. 3 May. REPORT.AZ/ The Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA) and Chamber of Auditors have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in fight against legalization of money or other property obtained by crime and financing of terrorism.

Report informs citing the FIMSA, purpose of the memo is to improve mutual cooperation in this field and expand joint activities.

According to the memorandum, as a part of joint cooperation, the sides will collaborate to conduct exchange of information and documents under survey, to form integrated database in the relevant area in order to prevent legalization of money and property obtained by crime and financing of terrorism.

In addition, in accordance with the memorandum, the sides will organize working meetings, scientific-practical conferences and seminars on issues of mutual interest within their competences.
