Fed leaves interest rates unchanged

The US Federal Reserve has kept the interest rate at 5-5.25%, Report informs referring to the regulator.

Thus, the Fed improved the US GDP growth forecast for 2023 to 1% from 0.4%, downgrading to 1.1% from 1.2% for 2024.

The forecast for the US unemployment rate has been improved in 2023 to 4.1% from 4.5%.

In addition, the Fed has improved its forecast for US inflation in 2023 to 3.2% from 3.3%.
