The world economy will overcome the COVID-19 pandemic crisis within five years, said Carmen Reinhart, the World Bank's chief economist.
"A quick return is possible immediately after the lifting of quarantine restrictions, but it will take five years to recover fully," the expert stated in a conference in Madrid.
According to her, for the first time in 20 years after the crisis, the world's level of poverty will increase.
