Exchange offices limited sales of dollars in Baku - PHOTOS

Baku. 9 January. REPORT.AZ/ As a result of monitoring carried out in exchange offices by analytical group of Report agency at 12:00 on May 28 str. in Baku sharp decrease registered in buying and selling in the rate of dollar. Most of the exchange offices buy dollar at 1,55-1,56 manats and sell at up to 1.6260 manats.

Note that, yesterday the dollar in some areas of the capital had lifted up to 1,83-1,87 AZN / USD.

However, setting the margin of (+/- 4%) for currency exchange operations by Central Bank of Azerbaijan significantly restricted the exchange rate policy.

Despite this, most polling stations closed, those which open sell only 200-300 USD per person.For this reason, there was a queue in front of the exchange offices.

Note that Central Bank's official rate for January 7-11 is 1.5642 AZN / USD. So these days, the minimum rate of US dollar for buying might be 1.5016 AZN / USD, the maximum rate for selling - 1.6268 AZN / USD.
