Economic growth in Nakhchivan to be close to 4% in 2025

The Azerbaijani government forecasts economic growth of 3.3% this year and 3.9% next year in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Report informs.

These figures were mentioned in the "Auditor's Report on analytical activities regarding the analysis of the 2025 budget project of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic" by the Chamber of Accounts.

According to the document, by the end of 2024, Nakhchivan will produce a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) worth 1.44 billion manats ($848.18 million), and next year it will be 1.498 billion manats ($881.56 million).

In January-November 2024, the Autonomous Republic produced GDP worth $1.365 billion manats ($803.06 million). This is 1% more compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, GDP per capita increased by 0.4% to 2,907 manats ($1710).
