EBRD holds seminar for Azerbaijani consultants

Baku. 24 September. REPORT.AZ/ Sixteen representatives of consulting companies from Azerbaijan will attend a four-day workshop organised by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and funded by the Small Business Impact Fund (SBIF).

Report informs that the workshop on Change Management targeted at local consulting industry is to take place on 24-25 September and 12-13 November.

The training will focus on building the capacity of local consultants in Azerbaijan in order to broaden the range and improve the quality of consultancy services delivered to local SMEs. The course will be led by Vladimir Chernyavsky in close cooperation with EBRD Advice for Small Businesses team.

The EBRD’s Advice for Small Businesses team works with local consultants in Azerbaijan to improve their skills and know-how and help them to deliver quality projects for small and medium-sized businesses.

“This Change Management training will help ensure that consultants are skilled to provide appropriate advice to SMEs in the dynamic business environment in which they operate," explains Jeff Ferry, Associate Director, Advisory Regional Head for Eastern Europe and Caucasus.

Since starting operations in Azerbaijan in 1993, the EBRD has helped over 900 enterprises to access consulting know-how, to develop and grow.
