Countries earning and losing most since EUR came into existence known

Baku. 26 February. REPORT.AZ/ According to survey by Centre for European Policy (CEP) Germany has earned EUR 1,893,000,000 or EUR 23.116 per capita since application of EUR in 1999, Report informs citing Deutsche Welle.

The second country earning the most from EUR is Netherlands with EUR 346 billion or EUR 21.003 per capita, the third is Greece with EUR 2 billion or EUR 190 per capita.

According to the research, EUR was effective for these countries because they used EUR earlier than others.

Italy, France and Portugal are the countries suffering the most from EUR use. These countries respectively lost EUR 4.325 billion or EUR 73.605 per head, EUR 3.591 billion or EUR 55.996 per capita and EUR 424 billion or EUR 40.604 per head.
