Copper price exceeds $9,000 for first time since September 2011

The price of copper on the Comex exchange (a division of the New York Mercantile Exchange) has grown by 3.49%, reaching $9,294 per ton.
Report informs referring to TASS that copper price has exceeded $9,000 per ton for the first time since September 2011.
Earlier, Deputy General Director of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC) Oleg Bragin, at the visiting session of the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum in Yekaterinburg, predicted a steady rise in copper prices until 2030.
