Compulsory insurance market in Azerbaijan shrinks by 18%

In January-February this year, 35.171 million manats of insurance premiums (-17.6%) were collected in Azerbaijan due to compulsory insurance, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, compulsory insurance payments amounted to 14.473 million manats, which is 56.2% less than a year ago.
In January-February 2022, up to 41.15 manats were paid for every 100 manats collected from the compulsory insurance market. This figure was 77.4 manats in January-February 2021.
