Chinas audit office develops app using AI in seven days

China's National Audit Office developed a mobile application in its field in just seven days using artificial intelligence.

Report informs that Yang Li, Director-General of the Electronic Data Audit Department of China's supreme audit institution, said this at the "Digital Public Audit for Sustainable Regional Integration" event organized by Azerbaijan's Chamber of Accounts in Baku as part of the 51st Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group.

According to him, the institution used new-generation AI-based coding tools to develop an intelligent text analysis application in a short period of time.

"We tested the capabilities of AI-based coding tools and developed an intelligent text analysis program in just seven days. The application can automatically extract key information from contracts, official documents and meeting materials, as well as summarize and analyze their content," he said.

Yang noted that the program supports auditors in conducting audits, assessing results and carrying out quality control.

"The use of AI tools not only increases the speed of audits, but also enables analyses to be carried out more accurately and effectively," he said.
