Central Bank: Volume of cash circulation to drop by 40% in Azerbaijan till 2021

As a result of the state program on expansion of digital payments, cashless circulation will increase up to AZN 14 billion, Alim Guliyev, First Deputy Governor at the Central Bank, said at the International Banking Forum held in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, the program covers 2018-2020 and more than 60 events are planned to be held in this direction: "As a result of the state program, the volume of cash circulation is expected to drop from 74% to 40%."
