Central bank puts 84-day notes in circulation in Azerbaijan

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has again put 84-day notes into circulation, Report informs referring to Baku Stock Exchange CJSC.

An auction was held to place CBA notes on the stock exchange for 30 million manats with a circulation period of 84 days. At the auction, 17 investors submitted orders with prices varying from 98.6193 (6%) to 99.2129 (3.4%) manats. The total amount of orders at face value was 279.764 million manats. In the end, all notes were placed. By decision of the CBA, the average price of notes was set at 99.2129 manats (3.4%).

Presently, the value of CBA notes in circulation is 430 million manats. Of this, 400 million manats are 28-day notes with a yield of 6.1% per annum. The remaining notes for 30 million manats with a yield of 3.4% per annum are in circulation from January 28.
