Central Bank of Turkey to set TRY/AZN exchange rate

The Azerbaijani manat has been removed from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) category of "Currencies not subject to purchase and sale" and transferred to the category "Currencies subject to purchase and sale".

According to the decision No. 32 on the protection of the value of the Turkish currency, published in this issue of the "Resmi Gazete" and the circular of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, "currencies subject to purchase and sale" are listed as follows:

"US dollar, Australian dollar, Azerbaijani manat, UAE dirham, Bulgarian lev, Chinese yuan, Danish krone, euro, South Korean won, British pound, Iranian rial, Swedish krona, Swiss franc, Japanese yen, Canadian dollar, Qatari riyal, Kuwaiti dinar, Norwegian krone, Pakistani rupee, Romanian leu, Russian ruble, and Saudi riyal."
