CBA, World Bank mull future cooperation priorities

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the World Bank have discussed key priorities for their ongoing cooperation, the CBA said.

The discussions took place during a business visit to Uzbekistan by a delegation led by the CBA's First Deputy Governor, Aliyar Mammadyarov. The delegation met with Antonella Bassani, the World Bank's Vice President for Europe and Central Asia.

The meeting focused on the current state of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank, as well as the priority areas outlined in the 2025–2029 Country Partnership Framework and the implementation of projects under the program.

The two sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest and discussed prospects for expanding future cooperation.
