CBA reduces discount rate

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has announced a decrease in the discount rate by 0.25 percent from 7.75% to 7.5%, Report informs referring to the CBA.

According to him, the lower limit of the interest corridor was set at 5.75% and the upper limit at 9.25% (at a ±1.75%-symmetric diapason).

The decision enters into force today. The CBA will consider the interests on January 31, 2020.
