Report/ Firi Salim

Baku. 1 March. REPORT.AZ/ "In connection with the individuals’ troubled loans, a part of debt was offered to be paid by the state, another part by banks and the remaining part by population. Even it was offered not to take into consideration the results of the first devaluation, take into account the results of the second and third devaluation," Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov told Real TV.

"However, President Ilham Aliyev said that the debt should be paid by the state, not population and the banking sector. Of course, this requires financial assets. The head of state said that the financial assets are not so important in this issue. If we approach this problem in terms of finance, it will be an economic project, not a social one. Principle of social justice should be completely ensured," he said.
