Cash payments to decline to 40% by late 2020 in Azerbaijan

Baku. 27 September. REPORT.AZ/ As a result of the ‘State Program on extension of digital payments in 2018-2020’ approved by President Ilham Aliyev, the annual amount of cashless payments is expected to rise by AZN 17 bn.

Report informs that this will promote a 7% increase in cashless payments per year.

Consequently, the share of cash payments in economic transactions will decline to 40% from 74%.
