Capital expenditures of state budget of Azerbaijan surge by 46%

In the first quarter of this year, 4,967 million manats ($2.92 billion) or 59% of the expenses of the state budget of Azerbaijan were current expenses, 2,357.5 million manats ($1.39 billion) or 28% were capital expenses, and 1.88 billion manats ($1.1 billion) or 13 % were expenses related to servicing public debt, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Finance.

According to the information, those are 4.6%, 45.6%, and 5.5-fold more, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
