Cables of major Armenian internet operator crash in Georgia

The Armenian internet operator Team Telecom had a failure on two main optical communication cables passing through Georgia, Report informs via Armenian media.
"Colleagues in Georgia are working to restore our main lines. Now we have activated a backup line that provides communication, but some restrictions are possible," the company said.
Team Telecom apologized to subscribers for the inconvenience caused.
Most of the backbone internet communication cables of Armenian operators pass through Georgia, the rest - through Iran.
