Budget transfers from Ministry of Taxes increase by 6%

In January-September 2019, AZN 7,683,100,000 was transferred to the consolidated budget through the Ministry of Taxes, of which AZN 5,608,700,000 was the taxes paid to state budget, AZN 2,074,400,000 – social and unemployment insurance fees, Report informs citing the Ministry.

The ministry fulfilled the forecast by 106.4%. Tax levies were AZN 337.5 million more than forecast, AZN 302.8 million or 5.7% than previous year. 70% of tax receipts came from non-oil and gas sector, 30% from oil and gas sector.

Receipts from non-oil and gas sector rose by 12.6% or AZN 439 million to AZN 3,928,800,000, the forecast was fulfilled by 110.1%. Tax levies exceeded the forecast by AZN 361.1 million.

In the reporting period, tax receipts from the regions grew by 12.2%, share of regions in total tax receipts reached 10.2%.
