Budget transfers from customs authorities up by 13% in Azerbaijan

In January-October 2023, the budget transfers from the State Customs Committee (SCC) amounted to 5,235,960,000 manats (nearly $3.08 billion), up 12.7% from January-October 2022, Report informs, citing the Committee.
In the reporting period, revenues from customs duties increased by 19.3% to 1,357,049,000 manats ($0.8 billion), from value-added tax (VAT) grew by 10% to 3,655,747,000 manats ($2.15 billion), from excise taxes went up by 39.3% to 186,651,000 manats ($109.79 million), and from road tax dropped by 30.6% to 36,513,000 manats ($21.48 million).
