Budget package: Azerbaijan’s GDP to grow by 3.6% next year

Baku. 23 October. REPORT.AZ/ The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Azerbaijan will be AZN 81.9 billion in 2019 (real growth – 3.6%), including non-oil GDP – AZN 50.5 billion (real growth 3.9%), Report informs citing the indicators of macroeconomic forecast for 2019 and the next three years.

Investments to be directed to the fixed capital in 2019 will increase by 2.2% to AZN 17.9 billion, of which 58.2% will come from domestic investments, 41.8% from foreign investments. Non-state investments will amount to AZN 8.9 billion, 50% of total investments.

In the next three years, exchange rate of the national currency against USD is expected to stand at AZN 1.70, consumption prices will continue to fall to a single-digit level.

Consequently, personal incomes will rise to AZN 59.2 billion, average monthly salary will increase by 10.7% to AZN 641.7.
