BSE turnover shows 60% decline

In January-February 2020, deals on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange amounted to AZN 1,095,765,000, down 59.8% from the previous year.
According to Report, the number of deals closed in the past two months rose 0.4% to 783.
Meanwhile, government securities constituted 41.1% or AZN 450.207 million of the BSE turnover, down 82.7% from a year earlier.
Deals on the corporate securities market rose sevenfold to AZN 404.353 million, while repo operations showed a 3.8-fold increase, reaching AZN 241,205,000.
