BSE turnover shows 6% decline

In 2019, deals closed on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange amounted to AZN 14,033,797,000, down 5.8% from the previous year.
According to Report, the number of deals closed last year rose by 6.2% to 5,460.
Meanwhile, government securities constituted 83.95% or AZN 11,781,969,000 of the BSE turnover, down 11.7% from a year earlier.
Deals on the corporate securities market rose by 20%, settling at AZN 1,129,248,000, while repo operations showed a 83.5% growth, reaching AZN 1,122,580,000.
