BSE turnover shows 46% decline

In January-March 2020, deals on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange amounted to AZN 2,076,041,000, down 46.1% from the previous year.
According to Report, the number of deals closed in the past three months rose 5.6% to 1,149.
Meanwhile, government securities constituted 42.8% or AZN 887.902 million of the BSE turnover, down 75.8% from a year earlier.
Deals on the corporate securities market rose 9.3-fold to AZN 765.676 million, while repo operations showed a 4.2-fold increase, reaching AZN 422,461,000.
