BSE turnover shows 40% decline

In January-April 2020, deals on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange amounted to AZN 3,003,000,000, down 40.3% from the previous year.
According to Report, the number of deals closed in the past four months dropped 3.2% to 1,460.
Meanwhile, government securities constituted 53.3% or AZN 1,602,000 of the BSE turnover, down 65.8% from a year earlier.
Deals on the corporate securities market rose 8.4-fold to AZN 888 million, while repo operations showed a 2.1-fold increase, reaching AZN 514,000,000.
