BSE turnover drops 26%

In January-May 2019, deals closed on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange amounted to AZN 7,323,769,000, down 26.4% from the previous year, Report informs.
The number of deals closed year-on-year decreased by 38.1% to 30,040.
Government securities constituted 78.75% or AZN 5,767,750,000 of the BSE turnover, up 16.9% in comparison to a year earlier.
Deals on share market fell by 98.3% to AZN 1,167,000, on bond market slipped by 39.3% to AZN 171.565 million, repo operations slid 20.25% to AZN 301.632 million, derivative financial instruments descended by 74.8% to AZN 1,081.656 million.
