BSE turnover drops 24%

In January-June 2019, deals closed on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange amounted to AZN 8,883,618,000, down 24.25% from the previous year, Report informs.
The number of deals closed year-on-year decreased by 47.7% to 31,531.
Government securities constituted 74.9% or AZN 6,655,998,000 of the BSE turnover, up 10.8% in comparison to a year earlier.
Deals on share market fell by 98.1% to AZN 1,286,000, on bond market slipped by 10.4% to AZN 301.876 million, repo operations slid 6.1% to AZN 437.802 million, derivative financial instruments descended by 69.35% to AZN 1,486.655 million.
