Board Chairman: Unibank not plans to merge with any bank

Baku. 2 February. REPORT.AZ/ Unibank does not negotiate with any financial institution about the consolidation.

Report informs, Chairman of the Board Faig Huseynov told reporters.

"Unibank is not planning to merge with any bank. There is no concrete plan in this regard, but in any case we are open for consolidation”, he said.

Faig Huseynov said news about the closure of the bank are nothing more than rumors. "The media that disseminates this information has to prove it with documents. I do not want to comment on rumors. The bank has an official statement regarding capitalization and tomorrow our audit report will also be released”.

We plan to develop digital banking. This is reflected in the Strategic Road Map of the country. No other revolutionary change is expected", he added.
