Baku. 2 November. REPORT.AZ/ The price of bitcoin is breaking records after exceeding $ 7,000 on global market.
Report informs, price of bitcoin increased 7 times since the beginning of 2017. Notably, capitalization of bitcoin with current prices exceeded $ 100 billion and reached a similar indicator of the world's leading companies.
The reason for the rise in price was the fact that CME Group, one of the world's major trading platforms, said it plans to launch futures transactions soon. After this, the bitcoin will be a regulated financial instrument.
As a result, institutional investors will be able to trade with bitcoin.
