Bank Melli Iran ends first quarter in Azerbaijan with a profit

Baku. 9 June. REPORT.AZ/ Bank Melli Iran ended activities in Azerbaijan with a profit of 503,7 thousand manats in first quarter.

Report informs referring to the bank, revenues in the accounting quarter were 2.5 million manats, expenses amounted to 349,1 thousand manats.1.6 million manats allocated for the establishment of reserves for assets.

According to the report, the bank's interest income was 612.3 thousand manats, expenses - 49.7 manats costs, including interest income amounted to 612.3 thousand manats.

This figure was 1.7 million manats which was 2.8 times more in the same period last year.

According to the report, the increase in revenues came from the proceeds arising from the revaluation of foreign currency So this kind of income rose up from 2.2 thousand to 1.8 thousand manats.
