Baku Stock Exchange turnover grows 39%

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) for January-September this year amounted to AZN11.947 billion, an increase of 39.4% from the same period last year.
Report informs, referring to the BSE, that over the past year, the number of concluded transactions has increased 2.2 times and amounted to 8,330.
State securities accounted for AZN6.208 billion or 52% of the BSE turnover, which is 9.7 percent more than a year earlier.
During the reporting period, the value of transactions in the corporate securities market decreased by about 4.7 times and amounted to AZN327.976 million manats, and repo transactions increased 3.9 times to AZN5.411 billion manats.
