Baku Stock Exchange turnover grows 19%

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) for January-September this year amounted to 15,300,750,000 manats, an increase of 18.6% from the same period last year.

Report informs, referring to the BSE, that over the past year, the number of concluded transactions has increased 2.1 times to 11,828.

State securities accounted for 7,287,806,000 manats or 47.6% of the BSE turnover, which is 15.5% less than a year earlier.

During the reporting period, the value of transactions in the corporate securities market decreased by about 2.6-fold to 816.611 million manats, and repo transactions increased 3.3 times to 7,196,335,000 manats.
