Baku Stock Exchange turnover grows 11%

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) for January-February this year amounted to 3,180,546,000 manats, an increase of 11.5% from the same period last year.
Report informs, referring to the BSE, that over the past year, the number of concluded transactions has decreased 3.7% to 1,807.
State securities accounted for 1,622,241,000 manats, or 51% of the BSE turnover, which is 26.1% less than a year earlier.
During the reporting period, the value of transactions in the corporate securities market increased by about 2.1-fold to 144.157 million manats, and repo transactions increased 2.4 times to 1,414,149,000 manats.
