Baku Stock Exchange turnover drops 4%

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) for January-June this year amounted to 7,949.54 million manats ($4.68 billion), decreasing by 4.3% from last year.
Over the past year, the number of concluded transactions has decreased 15.4% to 4,620.
State securities accounted for 4,448.457 million manats ($2.616 billion), or 62.2% of the BSE turnover, which is 13.9% less than a year earlier.
The value of transactions in the corporate securities market increased by about 2.6 times to 524.27 million manats ($305 million) during the reporting period, and repo transactions went up 1.6% to 2.976 billion manats ($1.75 billion).
