Baku Stock Exchange turnover down by 30%

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) in January-February 2023 amounted to 2,212,275,000 manats ($1.3 billion), decreasing by 30.45% from the previous year, Report informs.
Over the past year, the number of concluded transactions has increased by 5.9% to 1,913.
State securities accounted for 919.275 million manats ($540.75 million), or 41.6% of the BSE turnover, 43.3% less than a year earlier.
The value of transactions in the corporate securities market declined by about 44.2% to 80.507 million manats (over $47.36 million) during the reporting period, and repo transactions went down 14.3% to 1,212,493,000 manats (about $0.71 billion).
