Baku, Sofia agree to expand co-op in financial, banking sector

Azerbaijan and Bulgaria have agreed to organize mutual visits to expand cooperation in the financial and banking sector, Report informs.

The agreement was reached during a meeting between Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Sofia Huseyn Huseynov and Bulgaria's Minister of Finance Temenuzhka Petkova.

"I was delighted to meet with Mrs. Temenuzhka Petkova, Minister of Finance of Bulgaria. Exchanged views on enhancing Azerbaijan-Bulgaria cooperation in finance, banking, monetary and budget policy. Agreed on mutual visits and exchange of experiences between the respective ministries and financial institutions of both countries," Huseynov wrote on X.
