AzRe: We will raise our profile with our selected clients and brokers

Baku. 24 October. REPORT.AZ/ As the only reinsurer in Azerbaijan, AzRe have a market share of about 40 percent of all reinsurance in Azerbaijan which we service with our asset base of more than $85 million. 

Report informs, chairman of the management board of AzRe Fuad Kuliyev said to Intelligent insurer magazine as part of the annual International Insurance Forum in Baden-Baden.

He said the fall in oil prices in recent years, the economy of Azerbaijan in national currency, the processes associated with impairments caused contraction of the local reinsurance market: "Activity in the market is weak at the moment, but the potential is huge. "

AzRe chairman spoke about expectations: "As before, we want to raise our profile with our selected clients and brokers. We understand the business and would rather concentrate mainly on our nearby markets where results are better, interest rates are higher and where we feel at home, as can be seen from our results and where we have the leading position".
