Azerbaijanis spend more than $1B abroad

Baku. 17 December. REPORT.AZ/ In January-September 2018, mutual tourism services turnover amounted to $4.6 billion, up 6.4% in comparison with a year earlier.

Report informs citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) that surplus on tourism services rose 11.8% to $370.3 million ($331.2 million in the same period of 2017).

In turn, the tourism services provided to Azerbaijanis in the foreign countries amounted to $1.3 billion. Of this, 79% was funds spent by Azerbaijanis in connection with their personal trips.
