Azerbaijanis buy more apartments in Turkey

Foreigners purchased 3,945 apartments in Turkey in January, making an increase of 745 units or 23.3% year-on-year.
Report informs, citing Turkey's Statistics Department, that Azerbaijani citizens bought 99 apartments in Turkey in January this year. It makes an increase of 4.2% of 4 apartments in the same period last year.
Iraqi citizens lead the ranking of foreigners who bought apartments in Turkey. It is followed by Iran (678 apartments) and Russians (254 flats).
In 2019, Azerbaijanis bought 1,191 apartments in Turkey, a decline of 59 flats, or 4.7% over 2018. In the same period, foreigners purchased 45,967 houses.
