Azerbaijani insurance market narrowed slightly

Baku. 11 September. REPORT.AZ/ During January-July 2017, the volume of insurance premiums in Azerbaijan amounted to 322,83 mln AZN, which is less by 0,77% in comparison with the same period of 2016 year.
Report informs citing the Financial Markets Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).
During this period, volume of insurance payments increased by 20,98% and reached 144,009 mln AZN during that period.
During 7 months of this year, 45 AZN of insurance payments accounted for each 100 AZN insurance premiums.
This figure amounted to 37 AZN during the corresponding period of 2016.
