Azerbaijani Finance Ministry successfully places government bonds

Baku. 8 February. REPORT.AZ/ Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan has successfully placed issue of government bonds in manats and US dollars, put up at the auction of "Baku Stock Exchange" CJSC on February 5.

Report was told in the press service of the ministry.

According to the information, investors purchased bonds totaling 12 mln. US dollars and maturity in one and two years and a yield of 2.77% and 3.02% respectively.

At the same time, have been placed six-month and annual bonds in the amount of 20 million AZN with a yield of 7.79% and 8.8% respectively.

Before the end of this year, the ministry intends to ensure regular auctions to sell state bonds in accordance with the issue prospectus in the amount of 500 mln. US dollars and 400 mln AZN, which have passed a state registration.
