Azerbaijani banks get 593 mln AZN net profit in 11 months of 2017

Baku. 5 January REPORT.AZ/ In January-November 2017, interest profits of commercial banks operating in Azerbaijan amounted to 1731,8 mln. AZN, interest profits on loans 1 279,5 mln. AZN, interest income 796,1 mln. AZN, interest expenses on deposits 349 million AZN, non-interest income 872,7 mln. AZN, non-interest expenses 873,9 mln. AZN.

Report informs referring to Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).

The net transaction profit of banking sector amounted to 934,5 mln. AZN. 316.8 million of that amount the banks allocated for covering the expected loss on bank assets, as well generated 3.5 million AZN from other sources and paid 28,5 mln. AZN profit tax. The net profit of banking sector in 11 months of 2017 totaled 592.7 million AZN.
