Azerbaijan, Visa discuss optimizing costs on accepting payments

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the international card organization Visa have engaged in discussions to optimize costs related to accepting payments, Report informs, citing CBA.
CBA Deputy Governor Vusal Khalilov met with Sergii Martynchuk, the newly appointed Visa Senior Vice President and Group Country Manager for CIS, Southern and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus region.
They discussed further expanding the country's digital payment infrastructure, optimizing costs related to accepting payments, combating fraud in the sector, and improving risk management mechanisms.
The meeting also exchanged views on promising initiatives to further increase the security and efficiency of digital payments.
