Azerbaijan sees over 16% growth in positive balance of foreign trade turnover

In January-March 2020, Azerbaijan’s trade operations with foreign countries amounted to $6,843,000,000, down 10.2% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.
Export accounted for $ 4,206,000,000, down 6.2% from the previous year. Import made up $2,636,000,000, down 15.9%.
Consequently, the positive balance of trade turnover amounted to $1,569,000,000, up 16.4% from a year earlier.
