Azerbaijan sees decline in external public debt

As of January 1, 2019, Azerbaijan’s external public debt stood at $8,927,100,000, down 5% in comparison to a year earlier, Report informs citing the Ministry of Finance.
In 2018, the ratio of the external public debt to GDP dropped from 22.8% to 19%.
