Azerbaijan sees 87% rise in mandatory insurance payments  

In January-July 2021, the premiums on compulsory insurance types amounted to AZN 163,465,400, up 11% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

In the reporting period, the payments on the compulsory insurance types stood at AZN 72,994,900, showing an 86.6% increase compared to a year earlier.

Over the past seven months, AZN 44.65 of insurance payments accounted for every AZN 100 of insurance premiums, while this figure was AZN 26.6 in January-July 2020.
