Azerbaijan sees 5% rise in industrial production 

From January through September this year, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field manufactured products worth AZN 36.6 billion, up 4.5% from the previous year, Report informs.

During the reporting period, production in the non-oil and gas sector increased by 19.6%.

Some 62.4% of industrial products were in the mining sector, 31.8% in the processing sector, 4.9% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, 0.9% in the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector.

Commercial oil production in the mining sector decreased by 0.7%, while marketable gas production increased by 19.3 percent.

The production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and the steam sector grew by 5.6%, and the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector ascended by 12.9%.
