Azerbaijan's state budget surplus nears $1.5B

Azerbaijan's state budget revenues in January-April 2022 exceeded 10.687 billion manats ($6.29 billion), while expenditures amounted to just over 8.168 billion manats ($4.8 billion), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee

According to the committee, the state budget revenues increased by 29.8%, and expenses - by 8.5% compared to the same period of last year.

As a result, a budget surplus of 2.518 billion manats ($1.48 billion) was formed.
